CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (July 5, 2023) – The Hurricane Ian Long-Term Recovery Steering Committee invites all Charlotte County residents to participate in the creation of the Long-Term Recovery Plan. Community members are invited to attend in person recovery workshops. “Creating a shared vision of a resilient Charlotte County is the goal of this plan. We need engagement from our citizens, stakeholders, workforce and government,” Fuller said. The in-person workshops are scheduled for 90 minutes and will be a more in-depth review of recovery areas, task forces and submitted projects.
